We’ve developed a singularly personal approach to private dining that we call Concierge Service. Sit back, relax and leave the party planning to us! Concierge Service is our way of saying that we’ll go out of our way to provide you with those important details that turn an everyday event into an unforgettable evening. Our delicious food, outstanding service, and luxurious décor provide the perfect backdrop for your event. You’ll feel like a member of an exclusive club as we set the mood with appropriate music, consult with you to select wines, and help design and print invitations--anything your private party requires.

At The Metropolitan Club, we recognize that a successful business endeavor begins and ends with well-founded relationships. That’s why we’ve sought to collaborate with distinguished businesses that help us make your event exceptional. We are proud to partner with Table Toppers, a company that provides high-quality custom table linens, and Winston Flowers, a top-notch local florist.
Spaces
Our well-appointed private dining rooms encourage you to kick back, relax, and bond with clients. Both intimate and cutting edge, they’re outfitted with teleconferencing capabilities, a private sound system, a 42-inch LCD screen, and working fireplaces. The North Room is spacious and boasts a wall of windows, as well as a cozy fireplace. It can accommodate up to 30 guests. The South Room is a bit more intimate, and houses our cutting-edge AV equipment as well as its own working fireplace. It has space for up to 24 guests. If you’re thinking big, the North and South rooms can also be combined to seat up to 60 guests. And if you’re thinking totally outside the box, the entire restaurant can be made available to you, and can seat up to 150 guests. Luncheons, late afternoon events, and standup cocktail parties can also be accommodated; please don’t hesitate to inquire about these options.

Cuisine Executive Chef Jeffrey Fournier has designed dishes especially for private dining and large groups. We encourage you to craft your own custom menu by selecting items from the wide range of choices on our master menus. If you’re seeking a culinary adventure, we can orchestrate a Vertical Steak Tasting, featuring a sampling of The Met Club’s renowned beef, or a wine-centered Cellar Raid to get guests into new and rare varieties of wine. In addition, Chef Fournier is always willing to leave the beaten path (and his menu) to take you on a tour through Italy, France or India without leaving Chestnut Hill. And for dessert, The Met Club’s pastry chef will bake a special birthday cake or prepare a favorite treat to add the perfect finishing touch to your meticulously prepared event. |
Chef’s Table One of our signature offerings at The Met is an evening at The Chef’s Table. It gives up to 5 guests the opportunity to sit in our bustling kitchen at a custom-made butcher block table while Chef Fournier works his magic creating delicious, distinctive dishes for you and your guests. For anyone who loves food, this is the ultimate insider’s view!
